Homebuilders Association of Alabama held a legislative breakfast honoring Representative Howard Sanderford, R-Huntsville. Representative Sanderford has represented the 20th district since 1989. Representative Sanderford is retiring at the end of his 2022 term, after serving the State of Alabama for 33 years. The breakfast was held on the Avenue of Flags on the lawn of the Capitol building.
Sanderford currently serves as chairman of the House Boards, Agencies, and Commissions Committee and co-chairs the Joint Legislative Sunset Committee, which is tasked with overseeing, reviewing, and renewing roughly 100 occupational licensure boards and other agencies across Alabama.
