The deadline for renewals was Saturday, December 31, 2022. If you submitted a paper renewal, the renewal must have been post marked by December 31, 2022.
**Any renewal applications received postmarked after December 31, 2022, will be returned and an expired application and additional fees will be required.**
***If you are inquiring about the status of your license, or you have not received your 2023 license card/certificate yet and your status on our Licensee Search reads “Renewal Timely Submitted,” you have renewed on time, and we are processing your renewal application. As such, your licensure status remains in good standing and you are still considered an active licensee***
Continuing Education
Unless exempt, six (6) hours of continuing education MUST be completed before your 2023 license can be issued.
Two (2) of the six (6) hours MUST come from an Alabama specific course.
(You MAY complete your renewal application before CE is completed. However, your license will not be issued until the CE requirement is met)
