Effective June 17 through July 3, the HBLB office is closed to the general public. This is in response to the increased cases of Covid-19 in Montgomery County, Alabama, and the need to take additional measures to protect the health and safety of employees. The office will be closed completely on Friday, June 19 as a part of these health safety measures. We will resume a limited-staff operation on Monday, June 22 that will continue through Thursday, July 2. Friday, July 3, the agency will again be closed as that is a designated holiday by the Governor. The June 25, 2020 Board meeting has been cancelled, and all agenda items for that date will be re-set for August 6, 2020 at 10 a.m. The agency office will reopen on Monday July 6, 2020 to normal staff operations. These plans are subject to change. The agency building may not reopen to the public on that day, so please contact the agency in advance. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we will and must continue to take measures to protect the health and safety of employees and the general public.
