TIPS (1) Select the entity type. The default is "All" which will return both company and individual names. To limit the number of records returned, select "Company" or "Individual". (2) Select the "Number of Records to show at a time:". The default number is 10. You can return as many as 100 records per page. (3) Enter values in any field(s) to begin search. Upper or lower case characters do not affect your search. The results for corporations and partnerships are listed alphabetically by company name, and the results for individuals are listed alphabetically by last name.
EXAMPLES OF SEARCHES To find all builders in Montgomery County, select "All" for type, select "50" as the "Number of Records to show at a time:", enter Montgomery for "County:", and press search button. To find all builders in Montgomery County located in zip code 36117, select "All" for type, enter 36117 for "Zipcode:", enter Montgomery for "County:", and press search button. To find all companies in Alabama whose firm name begins with the letter A, select "Company" for type, select "100" as the "Number of Records to show at a time:", enter the letter A for "Firm Name:", and press search button. To find all individuals in Jefferson County whose last name begins with the letter J, select "Individual" for type, enter the letter J for "Firm Name:", enter Jefferson for "County:", and press search button. To find all builders located in the city of Dothan, select "All" for type, enter Dothan for "City:", and press search button To verify a license number given to you by a builder, enter the number in the "License Number:" field, and press search button |
